I am trying to: follow the instructions in the documentation at the link below to make custom fields visible in a custom post type admin interface. There are three steps listed at the link below, but when editing the settings for an existing post type I don't see any options that correspond to these instructions.
https://toolset.com/course-lesson/creating-a-custom-post-type/#select-fields-to-display-on-the-post-types-listing-page

Specifically, step 2 doesn't correspond to anything I'm seeing on screen:
"Expand the Post Fields to be shown as columns in Post Type listing in WordPress Admin section."

Hi Edmund,

Thank you for getting in touch.

Are you trying to display the custom fields in the admin column of a custom post type or are you working with the default post type that is included with wordpress.

If you are then you won't be able to add the fields in the admin table for the default post type. If you're using a custom post type please let me know.

Thanks,
Shane
