Home › Toolset Professional Support › [Resolved] Is there a way to hide the address below the Map?
Problem:
In this case the user was displaying a map along with the markers on the map, however the address was being displayed below the map.
Solution:
As suspected this was a case of the user also displaying the Types field on the content template that was displaying the map.
Simply removing the Types shortcode from below the map marker shortcode removed the address.
If this is happening to you as well all you need to do is remove the Types custom field shortcode from the template.

I am planning to hide the address area from the front-end of the google map but couldn't find any way on the settings.
The reason why I need to hide this its because, we are a construction company, we build buildings and most of the time the location of the project doesn't have details on google map, so instead of street address I use the latitude and longtitude. The problem is, the value of that lat/longti is also showing on the front-end.
hidden link
location map section
Thanks
Hi Adbulla,
I'm assuming that you are referring to here
{25.289804415027014,55.4145747792511}
You should be able to just remove the custom field shortcode that is generating this. Better yet, could you send me the exact code that is generating the map as well as the marker.
This way I can be sure of what exactly to remove.
Thanks,
Shane
Hi Shane,
Attached screenshot
Hi Abdulla,
Great thank you for the screenshot.
In the map.jpg file I see you are displaying the address data as well with the shortcode [types field='location-map'][/types]
You can actually remove this shortcode from the view and the data won't be displayed below the map.
This should resolve the issues, if it does you can then mark this ticket as resolved.
Thanks,
Shane
My issue is resolved now. Thank you!
