[Resolved] Is there a way to be able to “approve” a new user who fills out the form?

This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
Is there a way to be able to "approve" a new user who fills out the form?

Solution:
here is no such feature available to offer you or a built-in way to set new user as pending user. But there is alternative way you can chose.

You can find proposed solution, in this case, with the following reply:

Tell us what you are trying to do?
I created a CRED form to allow a new user to register. I have set up some protected content and want to be able to 'approve' the new applicant before they can access the protected content. I don't want bogus information submitted by a new user in order to just access the content.

Is there any documentation that you are following?
I've been thru the CRED tutorials and documentation and don't see any reference to approving a new user.

Is there a similar example that we can see?
No

What is the link to your site?

Well - what I can do is, I will forward this as a new feature request and send it for assessment as well as add your voice. Please note that there is no ETA on it.
