It cannot be that such a plugin is not yet compatible with PHP 8.3.8 - Give us an answer, we will open a complaint on PayPal in 24 hours. Give us a refund and when the plugin is compatible with PHP 8.3.8 we will purchase it again. but now you have given us something that doesn't work for us.
Tootlset is currently compatible with PHP versions 7.4 through 8.2. While Tootlset does operate in environments using PHP 8.1 and 8.2, you might encounter some deprecated warnings. Rest assured, our development team is committed to addressing any issues related to deprecated warnings caused by PHP versions as swiftly as possible.
It's important to note that WordPress itself only offers beta support for PHP 8.3, which indicates these versions aren't fully compatible with WordPress yet. We expect to resolve any compatibility issues related to PHP 8.3 once WordPress fully supports these versions.
We tried version 8.1 - 8-2
And many errors appear...
We purchased it because our site needs to be upgraded to php8.3.8 within this year. We believed that a toolset layer plugin that does a lot of things was already cutting edge.
We want the refund to start the procedure. Or do we have to make a refund on Payapal?
Now we have to write a plugin that does the Post type and custom filed.
When you have fixed all the php8,3,8 errors we will buy it.
Or make sure to make 5 errors that we receive disappear so we can keep it.
No solution?
to eliminate errors?
If your answer is no, we ask for a refund. give us an answer otherwise we will proceed with the complaint with paypal. When you have solved problems with PHP 8.3.8 - php 8.2 then we will purchase it again.
Thank you
For PHP 8.3+, we will need WordPress itself to become 100% compatible with it.
Regarding the PHP 8.2 deprecation notices, if you could reproduce it on a staging site where I can debug it and report it to our developers for a hotfix, that'd be very useful as we'd rather debug this on a testing site rather than the live site. We've been handling those deprecation notices on the fly, it is possible that the deprecation notices that you find when using PHP 8.2 have been already report and scheduled to be fixed in a next release, but we need to check.
With regard to the refund request, this needs to be done within your account page rather than PayPal for example. You can request it here as long as you're within the refund window(which you currently are): https://toolset.com/buy/refund/
You can test the errors on your staging site... because our wordpress site plus toolset would be nothing different from your installation. Let me point out that php8.3.8 has become official on many hosting servers such as Siteground. And Siteground is inviting all its customers to upgrade to php 8.3.8 because php7.4 will soon no longer be supported. we want to anticipate. WordPress supports php8.3.8 in beta. But surely correcting the errors reported by us would not involve any effort for you. Perhaps we deduce that your tolset has not been updated since December 2023. If we had time we would correct the errors, but why pay you for something you can do yourself? we advise you to do it as soon as possible... so that we can purchase it again... Your version also reports errors with Php 8.0 - php 8.1 php8.2... we will put the errors here again. There is sensitive data on our staging site and we cannot give you access to it.
