[Resolved] Is it possible to use the new Block editor for a single page

This support ticket is created 5 years, 4 months ago. There's a good chance that you are reading advice that it now obsolete.

This is the technical support forum for Toolset - a suite of plugins for developing WordPress sites without writing PHP.

Everyone can read this forum, but only Toolset clients can post in it. Toolset support works 6 days per week, 19 hours per day.

Tell us what you are trying to do?
I want to create a specific page layout for my front page. So i create a new page for it. Now i want to use the block editor for that but only layout editor is proposed. How can I do that with block ?

Pages use the Block Editor unless it's disabled.

People often use the Classic Editor plugin to do that, which might be preventing you from editing pages with the Block Editor.

With Toolset you can edit the page post type settings at Toolset > Post types and specify whether pages should be edited with the Block editor or the Classic editor, or on a page-by-page basis (see screenshot).
