Tell us what you are trying to do?
I am thinking about using toolset for the blog posts of hidden link. When you click on the blog, I would like to template the page so that a featured image goes to the top, and I would like to be able to use the gutenberg editor for the text area as it is easier and faster to format blog posts. Is it possible to do this?

Is there any documentation that you are following?
I am not sure

Is there a similar example that we can see?
no

What is the link to your site?

Hi Bobb,

Thank you for getting in touch.

I suspect that you are referring to the frontend of your site ? If so then no it is not possible to have the gutenburg editor in the text area field.

The gutenburg editor is a backend only editor for wordpress.

Thanks,
Shane

So,
If I am in the backend, I can format the blog post using the gutenberg editor?.
This would be a good solution.

I can create a standard toolset template for a post, and then when i create the blog post, I can use the gutenberg editor in the backend?.

thanks
robert

Hi Bobb,

"If I am in the backend, I can format the blog post using the gutenberg editor?."

Yes as this is now the default editor of wordpress.

"I can create a standard toolset template for a post, and then when i create the blog post, I can use the gutenberg editor in the backend?."

When you create the template for the post, it can be built using the Gutenburg editor. If you have our Toolset blocks plugin enabled, you can create the template by going to Toolset -> Content templates and hit add new.

Thanks,
Shane

Is it possible to load divi library items into tooset blocks, or would i not use divi in the post?

Hi, Shane is unavailable today and will return tomorrow to continue assisting you. In the meantime, I invite you to check out our recent blog post about combining Divi and Toolset in the same site: https://toolset.com/2020/01/how-to-build-advanced-sites-with-toolset-and-divi/

Hi Bobb,

Actually you can build content templates with the Divi Builder. However at the moment there are a few issues with Toolset and Divi 4. If you are going to use Toolset with Divi I would recommend that you use Divi 3 instead of 4.

Thanks,
Shane
