Hey there,

my client would like to export posts into an csv. I found this plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-all-export/ which should enable them to do so.

But I tried it and when adjusting the export file with the WP All Export settings, I can open a tab "Custom Fields", but this only includes some Divi fields and none of the custom fields, that I created with Toolset. Is there a possibility to include the Toolset custom fields into that?

Hi Andy,

Thank you for getting in touch.

Yes it is possible to export the Types custom fields with this plugins. They should appear under the custom field tab, see my screenshot.

Any field that you see with the wpcf- prefix is a types custom field on your post. Can you send me a screenshot of what you are seeing on your end ?

Thanks,
Shane

Hi Shane,

thank you, thats correct and I was able to find all the custom fields. Just one more question, when adding the date of a custom date field to the csv export it exports it like this "1611388800". Is it possible to adjust this somehow so it will be exported as date?

Hi Andy,

The date is stored in the database as a timestamp, this means it is stored as "1611388800". This will then need to be converted using PHP to a human readable date/time.

Is it possible to adjust this somehow so it will be exported as date?

Unfortunately no this won't be possible to do at least not when it is being exported. If you want to manually convert them you can use this tool below.

However if you are importing them into another Types date field then it must be imported as a timestamp.

Thanks,
Shane
