Hey guys,

I initially setup a WordPress archive for a custom post type I created but have since changed themes and need to move the archive view to a "normal" view. Is that possible or how would you suggest going about doing that?

Thanks!

Hi Jarrod,

Thank you for getting touch.

Unfortunately no you can't convert the archive itself to a view.

What you will need to do is to recreate your view exactly like the archive. The functionality and editors are the same so you should be able to replicate it 1-1

You can even copy over some of the elements and it will still work in your view. If you need further assistance with getting this done, please let me know.

Thanks,
Shane
