[Resolved] Invalid site key for the current site.

This support ticket is created 3 years, 4 months ago. There's a good chance that you are reading advice that it now obsolete.

This is the technical support forum for Toolset - a suite of plugins for developing WordPress sites without writing PHP.

Everyone can read this forum, but only Toolset clients can post in it. Toolset support works 6 days per week, 19 hours per day.

Hi team, I deployed my staging site a few weeks ago and am now trying to register toolset (the site is live). I have followed all the steps and the website and key are correct but I get this message: Invalid site key for the current site. I never registered the staging site as per the instructions.
Kindly please advise.

Hi Lisa

It's important that the URL is an exact match (including whether it is https or http).

To ensure that, I suggest you delete the site key from your accounts page, then from the plugins list on your site click the register link to go to the custom installer page.

Click the link to register the site (unregister it first if you need to), then use the "Get a key for this site" link to generate the key, which will ensure exactly the right URL is used.

If you still have problems after that, please let us know.
