[Resolved] Invalid site key for the current site.

This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:

The issue here the user had issues with registering their site.

Solution:

Checking user's information, everything checked out and I was able to register the site with the key they provided.

It seems it was an issue on the client's browser side as using the same exact key for the client the site was able to be registered successfully.

I am trying to:

I have had Toolset registered.
Restored WP from backup pre - Toolset snapshot.
Now when attempt to register I get "Invalid site key for the current site."

Tried to unregister website and generate new site key again with www. and without - no change same error.

Hi Luca,

I see that the url is now generated correctly.

However could you send me the key that you are using so that I can try on my end. I was able to register the site with my support account but it needs to be registered under your account.

Please provide the key.

is it something to do with client side browser or network? It was consistently failing for me.

Hi Greg,

I honestly cannot say but since the only difference here is that I entered the key from my end it would mean that there is some incompatibility on your end.

Maybe it will work in a different browser for you but I still cannot give a definitive answer on this.
