[Resolved] Invalid site key for the current site.

I am trying to:
Update Toolset plugins.

I expected to see:
Site registered.

Instead, I got:
Site was already registered, but showed "Invalid site key for the current site."
I then unregistered the site and re-registered which informed me that the site was already registered with the same code that was previously in there.
I used that key to register again and got the message "Invalid site key for the current site." again.
Unregistered again and registered a new site (in Toolset portal) using the same domain but with https. This gave me a new code.
Tried to register new code. Got the message "Invalid site key for the current site" again.
