Invalid key - Toolset

This support ticket is created 5 years ago. There's a good chance that you are reading advice that it now obsolete.

This is the technical support forum for Toolset - a suite of plugins for developing WordPress sites without writing PHP.

Everyone can read this forum, but only Toolset clients can post in it. Toolset support works 6 days per week, 19 hours per day.

Hi there!

I am trying to: register a new site with Toolset - it's a copy made with Duplicator, in case that's relevant.

I registered that site in my Toolset account and inserted the key, it tells me the key is invalid for this site. After searching the forum I deleted all Toolset plugins, installed the current Types version and tried again - same error. What am I missing?

Thank you for getting in touch.

It should be noted that you don't need to add the site key to the copy of your site, however if the url changed then you must register the the site with the new URL.

To ensure that the key is generated with the correct URL please follow the instructions in the link below.
