Interested in dynamic search for: wpv-filter-search-box

This is the technical support forum for Toolset - a suite of plugins for developing WordPress sites without writing PHP.

Everyone can read this forum, but only Toolset clients can post in it. Toolset support works 6 days per week, 19 hours per day.

We tried to integrate this plugin with our site and it worked nicely to provide dynamic text search after the user enters the first 3 characters ... my client suggests many users do not know how to spell correctly so they want the results to appear like they do with this plugin or with a Google type of text search - updating on the fly as the user types in the text ...

I did some serious search here in the support forums but could not find anything. Please advise when able.

Thank you for getting in touch.

Unfortunately our Views plugin filter box doesn't support a live search, so this is something that is not possible.

if you want to make modifications to the code to get this functionality, assistance would be out of the scope of our support forum given that it is something that is out of our support scope.

Thanks Shane ...

As most every other major search plugin on the market does do this, it would be great for the Toolset Team to consider it as well. I have 4 clients at the moment that have requested this and it does make it difficult to have to say no to them.
