Hi, it seems that Toolset's button to insert shortcodes doesn't work with the Divi theme.

Hi there

I just tested with the current version of Divi and didn't have any problems using the Fields and Views button to insert a shortcode (screenshot).

It looks like you have a custom child theme, so could you first switch to the Divi parent theme and check again.

If you still see the issue can you disable all non-Toolset plugins and try once more?

There may be a compatibility issue with one of the plugins, and if so it should be possible to determine which one by a process of elimination.

As there is another problem on the same site I have opened another ticket, with site access.

https://toolset.com/forums/topic/cannot-register-toolset-anymore/

May you have a look from there?

Thanks

I looked on your site and see that the problem occurs because you are using the new Divi builder, which is not supported for designing Toolset templates (see https://toolset.com/documentation/recommended-themes/toolset-divi-integration/).

When I switched the settings to use the Classic Divi editor inserting a shortcode worked, as you should be able to see if you check the content template "Nigel" that I created.

Ok, thanks.
There will be un update someday or I'll have to use the Classic editor forever?
Did you had the cance to look also at the Registration problem?

I have also an additional problem with Views on the same site

https://toolset.com/forums/topic/views-slider-problem-with-ajax/

Do you mind to check this too?

Sorry for the multiple queries, but it's easier than write always the same logins details every time.

Thanks

Best

I see the other threads have been picked up and handled by other supporters.

Regarding the Divi issue, we do not have any plans currently to update the integration to support the newer version of the builder.

Our developers are very busy working on several major new initiatives at the moment and we are hiring more. Trying to keep up whenever page builders introduce changes is a major distraction from the improvements to Toolset we are trying to make, and as Divi works well with the classic version, I do not expect resources to be diverted to add support for the newer version of the builder any time soon.

If we gets lots of demand from clients then this may change, but that is the current position. You can lodge a request to support it here if would like to: https://toolset.com/home/contact-us/suggest-a-new-feature-for-toolset/
