Importing Toolset module results in error: PHP does not support 'zip_open'

This support ticket is created 4 years, 8 months ago. There's a good chance that you are reading advice that it now obsolete.

This is the technical support forum for Toolset - a suite of plugins for developing WordPress sites without writing PHP.

Everyone can read this forum, but only Toolset clients can post in it. Toolset support works 6 days per week, 19 hours per day.

Hi guys,

Iam trying to import a Toolset module (the private messaging one) but it's giving me an error as soon as I hit upload: "PHP ondersteunt zip_open functie niet", which basically translates to "PHP does not support zip_open function".

Any idea what could be causing this issue?

Ps: I just tried to add a new plugin to the site by uploading a zip file and it worked.
