I have created a post-parent relationship in my site.
architect is the parent post and new is the child post.

In every parent post that has child I get the error that shows on the screenshot. If I press save to the parent, all the relationship is gone and the most strange is that all of the child posts to that parent become parents as well!!!

Hello. Thank you for contacting the Toolset support.

The message you mentioned should be displaying because there should be repeating field attached to your child post type - news?

Do you have any repeating (multiple instance) field attached with your post type news?

Can you be more specific?

I mean to say is there any custom field(s) attached to you news post type - if yes, is there any repeating field?

if you do not know what is repeating field and how its added, I would like to have temporary access to review your site settings in order to be of quick help.

*** Please make a FULL BACKUP of your database and website.***
I would also eventually need to request temporary access (WP-Admin and FTP) to your site. Preferably to a test site where the problem has been replicated if possible in order to be of better help and check if some configurations might need to be changed.

I would additionally need your permission to de- and re-activate Plugins and the Theme, and to change configurations on the site. This is also a reason the backup is really important. If you agree to this, please use the form fields I have enabled below to provide temporary access details (wp-admin and FTP).

I have set the next reply to private which means only you and I have access to it.

Well - that is limitation as the error message suggested that it will update all child field values with one value causing the data lost.

And why is there such a limitation?
