Import multipe images

This is the technical support forum for Toolset - a suite of plugins for developing WordPress sites without writing PHP.

Everyone can read this forum, but only Toolset clients can post in it. Toolset support works 6 days per week, 19 hours per day.

We're trying to import a custom post type with a gallery of images. The old site we exported from uses a different plugin, the new site using toolset. I imported the posts, including the field containing the images, but it doesn't have the images properly in the new field. It looks like the old site stored the images in a serialized array of ID's for the media entries. Is there any way to get the import to work with that?

Well - do you mean that third party plugin used to store media file IDs as serialize array? If yes:
- No, there is no solution available for that as its custom thing and you may need to build and run a custom script that eventually sets images correctly.

If I do not understand your problem - please feel free to explain with few screenshots and from which field you are importing the images and to which field.
