Dear toolset team,
I'm currently trying to build a view for a custom post type. The post type uses custom field groups and I want to display the names and the images from each post in the view. There are no issues with dynamically loading the custom field of a single line as a dynamic heading in the view.
However, when I try to load the image in the same way it doesn't work. I get to the part where it asks me for the post source which remains on the default for this view and as soon as I select my custom field group as a source it deletes the selection. Sometimes it starts loading the field section but it disappears about a second later.
I have recorded the issue - unfortunately there is no option to upload a video so I put in on the drive: hidden link
Would be happy about any support to resolve this issue
I'm unable to reproduce the issue on my own test site.
I thought it might be because you are using an Image block which is for displaying a single image, but your source image field has multiple images, but that didn't seem to be a problem on my site.
Does it work if you—instead of using an Image block—use a Gallery block (which expects multiple images)?
We'll likely need access to your site to be able to see the problem for ourselves, and possibly take a copy for testing, it that's okay.
I will mark your next reply as private so that we can get log-in credentials from you—you may want to create a temporary admin user for us to use that you can later delete. And be sure to have a current backup of your site.
Can you also confirm the url of where we can see the problem, it would be editing a Content Template, yes?
