On my site hidden link we're finding an issue with an image field hiding other fields while trying to edit a custom post type. We're using the custom post type "Films" which includes the field in question "Poster Image". A screenshot is attached.

When we open the window up wider or reduce down past the breakpoint for mobile we are able to edit the fields, however ideally the image won't obstruct the entire edit area so that we can edit without too much hassle.

Thanks!

Hi Emily,

Thank you for getting in touch.

Is it an issue with only this post only ? As this issue was apparently fixed in type 3.3.1 as i'm not able to replicate even using the same image as you.

Thanks,
Shane

Hi Shane,

It's happening on all posts - you can notice it more if you drag your window size down. I didn't think it was an issue at first but on smaller screen sizes the image is still overlapping causing some UI issues.

Hi Emily,

Right but as mentioned this was supposed to be fixed in the latest release.

However I did try to re-upload your images in a short test and it displayed with a smaller thumbnail.

If you're able to identify the posts then what I would recommend is to just re-upload the images and they should re-adjust to the correct sizes.

Thanks,
Shane

Okay understood - I think it might be beneficial to investigate a retroactive approach with this issue then since the majority of our posts (approx 400) have these larger images. I'll let my client know that it's not fixable unless we re-upload.

Thanks.

Hi Emily,

Please let me know.
Thanks,
