Hi there,
I built a page to display in a map block a list of items who belong to a custom post type named "medici"
Following the course lesson named "Displaying a List of Posts on A Map in WordPress", I added a view block with custom search fields and a map block who show the locations of the single records in the view

In this process I'm meeting two issues:
1) when I select one of the filters, the single posts aren't filtered, the marker on the map disappears and the map is centered on Guinea gulf continent instead of Italian cities
2) if I press the reset button of the view search section, all the custom search fields turns unavailable

Could you please assist me to find a solution?
Thanks

Hi Andrea

I'm returning to look at the issue in your other ticket this morning.

For this issue I think it would help if we could look at your site to see how you have this set up, if that's okay.

I will mark your next reply as private so that we can get log-in credentials from you—you may want to create a temporary admin user for us to use that you can later delete. And be sure to have a current backup of your site.

Can you also confirm the page where we can see the problem.

I'm encountering some unexpected issues when I try to make some changes to the View on that page, and I'd like to take a copy of the site to do some more testing locally.

Is it okay if I go ahead and do that?

Yes, it is. Of course . There is no problem. Take a copy and keep me up to date.
Have a good work

Hi Andrea

I still had problems wth the locally installed copy of the site, including after disabling all non-Toolset plugins and switching theme to twentytwentyone. The problems specifically seemed to relate to ajax operations rather than when reloading the page.

In any case, it wasn't clear what the source of the issue was, so I tried rebuilding the page from scratch with a new View and Map block, and the new page worked as expected.

So I've done the same on your own site.

I did run into some more problems initially (editing the page had multiple JS errors relating to the Google Maps API, see screenshot), and I resolved that by changing the Divi settings so that it did not look the scripts for the maps API (which is being done by Toolset).

After that it works correctly, if you could please verify the same.

I'm afraid you will need to update the page to style it according to your needs, translate the text as described previously etc., but thankfully it is functioning correctly.
