I have a view configured with a search filter. I have added a number of custom search fields to the filter, some of which are related to standard checkbox fields.

What I want to achieve is if a checkbox is unchecked in the filter, it is basically ignored by the filter, i.e. can return data records where that checkbox is checked or un-checked. If the checkbox filter field is checked, it must return data records only where that checkbox is checked.

Is this possible? Can someone help with a suitable configuration to allow this?

Thanks, Nick

Hello. Thank you for contacting the Toolset support.

First of all, I would like to know do you have checkbox field or checkboxes (multiple) field.

What you say should work by default that if the checkbox filter is checked it should only return the posts where the checkbox is checked and if not then it will show result accordingly.

Can you please share problem URL and tell me with what filter you have issue with and what is your expected results and what filter I should play with.

*** Please make a FULL BACKUP of your database and website.***
I would also eventually need to request temporary access (WP-Admin and FTP) to your site. Preferably to a test site where the problem has been replicated if possible in order to be of better help and check if some configurations might need to be changed.

I have set the next reply to private which means only you and I have access to it.
