This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem:
The issue here is that the user wanted to know if they can keep the views and custom fields displaying and disable the Types and views plugin.
Solution:
Unfortunately no this is not possible to do as you need the plugin in order for it to reference the information stored as well as to process the shortcode to display the view.
This support ticket is created 6 years, 5 months ago. There's a good chance that you are reading advice that it now obsolete.
