Tell us what you are trying to do?
I want to convert my custom post types and their fields to Toolset

The items on this sites 'Restaurants' page (hidden link) were created and entered via custom post types/fields via use of now-dead plugin "Easy Content Types"

I would like to convert all to Toolset.

Any chance you have a tutorial or import tool for this?

Cheers from 12 West,

– Michael

Hi Michael,

Thanks for getting in touch.

You should be able to do this by following the instructions in the link below.
https://toolset.com/documentation/user-guides/convert-existing-custom-types-and-fields-to-types-control/

Thanks,
Shane

Thanks for staying in touch on this.

I'm not sure how/where to proceed.

When it was stated in the link you shared with me:
Remove the PHP that declared these custom types. Normally, you would remove them from functions.php in the theme. Once you do this, all your custom data will appear to have vanished. Do not worry. It just is not shown.

I'm not sure how to proceed with this, as the custom post types and such were created with the plugins known as Easy Content Types and Easy Content Types: Bonus Meta Field Types.

I have nothing related to the CPT in the functions file relating to CPTs

Has anyone had experience with this?

Hi Michael,

"I'm not sure how to proceed with this, as the custom post types and such were created with the plugins known as Easy Content Types and Easy Content Types: Bonus Meta Field Types."

For this all you need to do is disable the plugin and re-create the CPT inside Types using the same slug and they will appear again.

Thanks,
Shane
