i want an alphabet box across top

Is there a similar example that we can see?

What is the link to your site? it is behind a VPN while in dev. It is a faculty listing for bme.unc.edu

Hi, there's nothing exactly like this built in to Views. Some other Users have created something similar using a custom taxonomy and some custom code. You can find more information about that here: https://toolset.com/forums/topic/alphabetical-filter-option/
