I Need to show some custom fields in a portfolio type excerpt

This support ticket is created 6 years, 6 months ago. There's a good chance that you are reading advice that it now obsolete.

This is the technical support forum for Toolset - a suite of plugins for developing WordPress sites without writing PHP.

Everyone can read this forum, but only Toolset clients can post in it. Toolset support works 6 days per week, 19 hours per day.

Tell us what you are trying to do? I need to show only two custom field I've created in excerpt section of portfolio type (original from theme) I've tried to put in excerpt this shortcode <p>[types field="descrizione-prodotto2"][/types]</p>
<h5>[types field="prezzo-prodotto"][/types] €</h5>
but in portfolio page hidden link (the item is "Specchiera rossa..) I see the same shortcode and not the content I've putted in custom fields

Is there any documentation that you are following?

Is there a similar example that we can see?

What is the link to your site?

Hello. Thank you for contacting the Toolset support.

Well - I see the product "Specchiera rossa" but I do not see the shortcodes, however, the excerpt section should accept the text string so shortcode should not work there.

Could you please tell me how exactly and where you added the types shortcodes, is it possible for you to send me access details?
