Tell us what you are trying to do?
I have created a Content Template for a custom post 'Articles'.. I need it to occupy full width of the page.. however the theme that I use 'Herald' which is a very nice theme and works really well.. has the option of setting the default settings for single posts and I've set that up with a right side bar.. so all single posts have a right side bar which is perfect.. however for the custom posts I don't need the side bar.. it's the same for my archive templates.. How do I ensure that the Content Templates that I've created for toolset don't use the single.php and archive.php of the template.. please advise..
Here's a link to the article post which has a sidebar which I don't need hidden link
Is there any documentation that you are following?
I would suggest getting in touch with the theme's support for this one as Toolset has no control for overwriting the over hanging page structure, we can only modify the content area. The side bars are generally controlled by the theme.
In a case like this it would need to be disabled by the theme itself. As such I would recommend getting in touch with the theme author to see if they have a way to remove the sidebar for the archives and custom posts.
