[Resolved] Export and Import content and data

This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem

How can we export and import things we created with Toolset, inclusive the content?

Solution

Toolset provides export/import mechanisms for its data structure.

This means you can handle the Post Types, Fields, Forms and so on, but not the content created (post content, terms, titles of posts...)

You can export and import Toolset Structure either with "Import/Export" menu under Toolset or with the Toolset Module Manager Plugin.

Content Itself can be exported and imported with the native WordPress Import/Export Plugin which can be used in Dashboard Tools > Import/Export

Tell us what you are trying to do?

My client would like to be able to export an 'order' into an excel document. The order is a collection of Cred forms. ie (Wedding details, Clothing details, Peoples measurements and alterations, clothing items for that person etc). At the moment my partner and I have managed to create an 'Order Overview (we still need to find a way of showing the people linked to this order and their measurements etc) but the client has asked if there is a way for us to gather all the details, everything that has been inputted to that order, collate it all, and export it into an excel document for example) as that is what he uses for packaging the wedding. (Full order export).

Is there any documentation that you are following?
No, I can not find anything that shows us how to collate the data collected into a document

Is there a similar example that we can see? This is the 'Overview of an order', the right-hand column has the people linked to this order, we also need their measurements and alterations, if any, added to the document that he can export.

What is the link to your site? hidden link

The short answer is no.

It's out of the scope of WordPress generally, and not possible out of the box with any Plugin or Theme I know.

You can export data with several plugins into several formats, but that isn't done with Toolset.
I mean plugins like this:

It should allow you to export all posts in a certain format, and eventually, also custom fields and other things.

Otherwise, there is always the Posts Export Tool of WordPress Itself, which also includes the Custom Fields in its export.
But this data would then probably need to be edited so to re-import it to Excel, for example.
