Problem:
The issue here is that the user wanted to know if it was possible to display an alternate image if a custom field is empty.
Solution:
I believe what you need to have a look at is our documentation here

This way you can display something if the field is empty.

i´m trying to select automatically between tou images. If the new imge created by types is with a pic selec it and don´t show the featured image of the post and if it don´t have a pic show the featured image
i´m traying to find more documentation to learn more of this
