firstly, I have created an archive page for the "Plant" post type hidden link
it is loading really slowly, I want to increase the speed.
Secondly, on the single page hidden link
I want to show the "photos" field in a slider with a lightbox gallery (exactly like this: hidden link ), to do so I need to use the toolset Blocks plugin, which is in "Beta" version.
But I have my other websites running on Stable, so I am concerned if this change from Stable to Beta would affect my other websites or their functionality in any way?
Also moving from the Stable to Beta would not affect functionality as only new features are added in the Beta. However I would highly recommend backing up your website before installing the latest beta version.
Is this a multi site ? or is it just a single install.
You can just backup the site that you will be installing the Beta to. I doubt that you will run into any issues as the Beta won't make any changes to any existing content so you should be fine.

I can't figure out why it almost takes two seconds while we have so few posts to filter, it's scary, what will happen when we have 100?
So this would appear to be the normal behaviour because once the option is selected a dynamic query is run to get the results that you require.
The speed of the search should not be impacted even if you are retrieving 100 posts.
What you can do is to add a loading bar to the search so customers will have some feedback when they select an option that the view is gathering their data.
