I have a doubt about a create user form

This support ticket is created 5 years ago. There's a good chance that you are reading advice that it now obsolete.

This is the technical support forum for Toolset - a suite of plugins for developing WordPress sites without writing PHP.

Everyone can read this forum, but only Toolset clients can post in it. Toolset support works 6 days per week, 19 hours per day.

I have a doubt that is that if users create a user through a user form and no password is assigned on the creation which password is assigned to this user? IS there a random password assigned ?

Hi Joan,

Thank you for getting in touch.

If the user form was created without the password field then the user will get an automatically generated password in their email.

If the form was created with the password field and the user tries to submit without filling out the field then the form won't submit. They will be prompted with message for them to fill out the field.
