Tell us what you are trying to do?
I want to set up a different template based on a custom field but I don't know the steps to do so.
I created a type of publication: book.
Among the custom fields, there is the "library" field with the following value: youth, adolescent and adult.
I would like for each book responding a different value of this field to have a different pattern.
What are the steps to take to achieve this?
Do I have to create three different content templates?
Do I have to create three different views?
What conditions should I use?
I do not know how to do.
Is there any documentation that you are following?
Yes, in your site, but it's really not clear.
Is there a similar example that we can see?
I don't know!
What is the link to your site?

Hello and thank you for contacting Toolset support.
You can set conditions to display content templates on custom fields. Check this screenshot hidden link
However, I checked my test site, and I could not choose a select field from my custom fields. I was able to select single line, multiline, WYSIWYG, and radio fields, but I could not use a select field.
As a workaround, you can create 3 content templates, for each value of the custom field(youth, adolescent and adult). Then, create another content template(to be used as the parent) and inside of it use the conditional block, or conditional shortcodes(if you are using the legacy editor) and put each of the first 3 content templates inside of the condition. Does it make sense?

My issue is resolved now.
As with my previous request, I went through the Facebook group and in fact, I just had to add conditional blocks in the content model.
Thank you!
