[Resolved] NonLatin characters in post types plural name may break toolset access rules

This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
When my post type plural name has non-latin characters then users below Adminsitrators cannot access that post type even if allowed so by Toolset Access settings.

I need a new user role "Content manager". User with this role will have access just to my custom post types and will not have access to setting etc.

So I created the role named "Content Manager" - hidden link , and registered a new user with this role - hidden link

Next, I went to tab "Post Type" - hidden link and enable access to Media for my new user role - hidden link

Check when logged like this user - hidden link All is ok, I see what I have access to Media now.

Next, I want to enable access to my custom post type "Онлайн казино (in eng. Online Casinos)" and do the same what I did with Media - hidden link

A checked result like logged user and see nothing - hidden link access to custom post type "Онлайн казино" is absent.

Ok, let's try to enable access for another my custom post type "Слоты (in eng. Slots)" - hidden link and what I see - hidden link, this time I got access, but why? What different between these two custom post?

I can't catch the difference. Please help, what I am doing wrong?

Hi, there are a few open issues in Access:

I would check these things:
- Post relationships. Make sure the User role has access to the Онлайн казино post type as well as any related post types.
- Number of posts. Make sure at least one post exists in the Онлайн казино post type.
- Whether or not current User is an author of a post. Try creating a post with another User, then setting the author manually in wp-admin.
- Whether or not the default Post type is managed by Access. Make sure "Posts" are managed by Access.

I am confused....

All post types (custom and default), all taxonomies managed by Access, but I don't see my custom post types like Онлайн казино when I logged how user with "Content Manager" role - hidden link (for example, when I admin - hidden link )

Hi Serhi,

I've escalated this to our 2nd tier supporters for further assistance.

In the interim you should be able to use the User Role Editor plugin to work around this while our team investigates.

I tested the plugin and I was able to get the CPT to show up correctly.
