[Resolved] I do not understand how to create states of Spain to associate cities of Spain

This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem: I would like to add international properties, cities and states to the Real Estate reference site.

Solution: Go to Toolset > Post Fields and edit the "Property details - house" field group. Add a new Address field called "Property Location" and make sure the slug is "property-location". Save, and then visit the House editor in wp-admin. You should now see an address field where you can place any address, which will be used for the placement of the map marker (You need a Google Maps API Key to do this).

Repeat the process to add the Property Location post field to the other property types post field groups.

You can add Cities and States from the wp-admin Dashboard as well. If your States do not have a two-letter code, omit that value.

I am working with Real Estate with Layouts of reference sites and I do not understand how to create states of Spain to associate cities of Spain in properties (houses, apartments, land and offices).
Could you tell me how?

Sure I can help. Please login to wp-admin and find in the left menu "States > Add New". Here you will be able to add a new State, let's say "La Rioja". Publish the post to create the La Rioja State. See larioja.png.

Next, scroll down to the Post Relationship panel, where you will see a button "Add New City". This is how you will create Cities that belong in La Rioja. For example, you can create "Logroño" here. See longrono.png.

Another method to create Cities is to go to "Cities > Add New". Here you can create a new City, and save it, then associate it with a parent State.

To associate Apartments (or other properties) with a City, go to "Apartments > All Items" and find the Apartment you want to change. Click the name of the Apartment to open the Apartment editor. Scroll down to the bottom to find the Post Relationship panel. Here you can select one of the Cities you just created. See apartment.png. The process is similar for Land or Offices.

Let me know if you have additional questions about this process, or if I have misunderstood your request.

Sorry for the inconvenience, but the solution you are proposing does not work. Where do you get the code (State code) of the province "la Rioja"? (Img larioja-code-state.png)

I assigned the city of logroño (child of La Rioja) to test house and it does not appear on map. (img test-house.png)

Where do you get the code (State code) of the province "la Rioja"?
I assumed that Spain has a unique two-letter code for each state. I simply made one up, but it's possible to leave it blank as well. This will not affect the map marker placement.

I assigned the city of logroño (child of La Rioja) to test house and it does not appear on map.
After some investigation I realize now that the map marker location is based on a field that was removed from the reference site editor. I can show you how to re-enable it. Go to Toolset > Post Fields and edit the "Property details - house" field group. Add a new Address field called "Property Location" and make sure the slug is "property-location". Save, and then return to the House editor. You should now see an address field where you can place any address, which will be used for the placement of the map marker (You need a Google Maps API Key to do this).

Repeat the process to add the Property Location post field to the other property types post field groups.
