I cant upload an image/file with forms in pages and posts, only in custom postty

This support ticket is created 4 years, 9 months ago. There's a good chance that you are reading advice that it now obsolete.

This is the technical support forum for Toolset - a suite of plugins for developing WordPress sites without writing PHP.

Everyone can read this forum, but only Toolset clients can post in it. Toolset support works 6 days per week, 19 hours per day.

I am trying to:
upload an Image/file with frontend-form, in custom posttypes it is o.k. in posts and pages i cant see the mediafile listing, i see only the close button.
The forms you only can see when you loged in

Thank you for getting in touch.

I logged in and was able to see the issue as you described it. In order to get a full assessment of the situation and see where we need to go from here I would like for you to try some steps for me.

1. Completely remake the form and try to edit your post with that form and see if the fields don't work to upload your files/images.
2. Disable all the non-toolset plugins and try this remade form again.

Based on the symptoms that you are having on this site I suspect that something might be wrong with the form itself but we can only be sure if the new form works without any issues.

The Plugin "BIALTY - Bulk Image Alt Text" was the problem.

My issue is resolved now. Thank you!
