Hi Lars,

Thank you for getting in touch.

I see where this layout is suppose to be displaying the Post Content .

I checked the private fields but I saw where you didn't include the credentials for the site.

Could you send them in your next response so that I can have a look at the layout on the backend?

Thanks,
Shane

Hi Lars,

Thank you for the credentials.

Your Layout and page is actually working Fine.

What is happening is that the filters that you have on the views here
hidden link

It is set to get the taxonomy information from a "Parent View" but there is no parent view to provide the information to the view. Hence why it is displaying blank.

Also remember that you have your content in Tabs so clicking each tab will display your additional data. So essentially the page is perfectly fine.

Thanks,
Shane

Hi Shane
Thanks for the answer. I installed the views via the module manager, so i expected it to work this way. Do i need to insert shortcakes in a specific page or what is missing. Is the view supposed to be on a specific page?

I see the filter, and manage to change it to specifik categories, but how do i set filters in the parent view.

I added the shorcode to a separate page, how can i set parent view?

Hi Lars,

Can you let me know what exactly the view is to display and I will let you know which filter is needed.

Thanks,
Shane

Sorry for a delayed answer. I try go understand how its working, so any view. For example this from the page i shared.

[wpv-view name="categories-grid-single-post"]

Normally i install modules like portfolio or members and then i have s framwork which is working and i can make changes from that.

But in the case the Magazine it did mot work so i need to endersyand how irs supposed to work. I see there is a news site available, perhaps thst is better To setup. Anyway, if you can mske this view working it will be helpful.

Hi Lars,

I see you've added the view to the 3rd tab on the homepage.

However can you let me know exactly what you want to display in the 3rd tab?

This way I will know if we need to create a new view or if the current view can achieve this.

Thanks,
Shane
