I am trying to: add hyperlinks to a speaker page. Once I've add a hyperlink the page keeps scrolling down and it's also not possible to change the link or remove it.

I just checked with sandbox site I've and I do not see the same issue. There must be conflict with third-party plugin or theme.
In order to minimize the cause of the issue and to ensure there is no conflict between the theme or plugins you are using.
Could you please try to resolve your issue by deactivating all third-party plugins as well as the default theme to check for any possible conflicts with any of the plugins or themes?
