I see that you have some demos about building a membership site. My client has a collection of courses built on another platform and I'm looking for a WordPress LMS that allows a subscription / membership model whereby customers pay monthly for "credits" or "tokens". These tokens allow them access to ONE course of their choosing per month.
I've looked at Woocommerce membership and subscription plugins, but their support team told me they don't have plugin that fits my needs. Do you think there is a way to configure Toolset to provide this feature?
Hello, Toolset's Access Controls features generally work by restricting access to content based on User role, not by purchased credits or tokens. You could theoretically create different User roles for each course, then allow Users to purchase products that effectively change their membership role per purchase, but that could get messy if you have a lot of courses and corresponding roles, and you'd probably need some custom programming to trigger those role changes at specific times based on their purchase/membership history. I don't think Toolset has the features you're looking for out-of-the-box, but with a bit of custom work you could piece something together. An LMS plugin may have more out-of-the-box functionality like you've described, but I'm not really educated on those products so I don't have a good recommendation for you.
