[Resolved] How to properly create “Event” custom post?

This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
How to properly create "Event" custom post?

Solution:
With Toolset, you can multidate events using two date fields start date and end date or you can use repeating date field to assign multidates.

Toolset offers free test platform http://www.discover-wp.com where you can find number of reference sites:
=> https://discover-wp.com/site-templates/

I suggest you should visit any of reference site and learn how those are made by creating a test site for you and try to create event post type and few custom fields and if you see it works for you, you can go with Toolset.

Hello!

I want to add "Events" custom post which will be in relation to "Clubs" currently present posts. For events, I want a field with functionality similar to any calendar planner - multi dates, periodicity of event, start and end time of event.

To show calendar - is just an option, it's ok just to show posts in sorted list.

I found that topic - https://toolset.com/forums/topic/calendar-view/ - is there any more actual advices on how to do the thing I want? Or to use "The Events Calendar" and link it to Toolset post type - is the same recommendation?

Hello. Thank you for contacting the Toolset support.

With Toolset, you can multidate events using two date fields start date and end date or you can use repeating date field to assign multidates.

Otherwise, "The Events Calendar" plugin is powerful Events management plugin, you should go with that.
