This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem:
The user would like to deactivate taxonomy description field.
Solution:
Deactivating the default fields of a custom taxonomy is not supported by WordPress. Toolset does not support it either.
A workaround would be to only hide the description input on the backend forms and to not use it on any Toolset form.
