[Resolved] How to create a filter form in php with the API

This support ticket is created 6 years, 8 months ago. There's a good chance that you are reading advice that it now obsolete.

This is the technical support forum for Toolset - a suite of plugins for developing WordPress sites without writing PHP.

Everyone can read this forum, but only Toolset clients can post in it. Toolset support works 6 days per week, 19 hours per day.

Tell us what you are trying to do?
I'm using the basic Toolset Types to create custom types. I did php templates for my CPT (single-mycpt.php archive-mycpt.php) I need to create a filter form in the archive-mycpt.php but i can not find any sample in you documentation (or support question).
I know i can do that with View (i did it already) but i can't use View in this case, i need to create a form in php (with you api).
have you got a example somewhere i can follow ? or documentation ?

Well - You can build filter forms using view's and by using view's GUI. There is no way to build filter forms by using just Types plugin rather its not supported.

If you still wants to build filter form for you PHP template archive, that falls in custom programming category which is beyond the scope of our support policy. If you need custom programming for your project, Please feel free to contact our certified partners:
