Hello. Thank you for contacting the Toolset support.

To display dependent dropdown it needs two post type with parent/child relationship.

To implement such functionality - You should check this example:
=> hidden link
- Please check “State” and “City” dropdowns with search form.

To know more and learn about how the "State" and "City" drop-down setup, You can register test site on discover-wp.com to review how its setup and play with it. It’s totally free.

Well - When you try to add your view to any page, it will give you option shown in following image:
=> hidden link

You should select "only search box" option and then select the another page where you want to display the search result.

Please refer to the following link that may help you:

thanks for your support, as far as I see the search in this way only works with custom post types, right? or shall we use also taxonomies or categories?

You are right - it will only work with custom post types and you need to establish Types relationship between post types you use.

Another info, regarding the fields that shall contain a price value, how can we display the currency? What type of field is necessary and is it possible to create a different currency depending on certain fields (i.e. price shall be in EURO and budget shall be in USD) ?

As per our support policy, we entertain only one question per ticket and as I answered all questions related to your original query regarding dependent fields - May I kindly ask you to open a new ticket with your each new question. This will help other users searching on the forum.

Thank you for understanding.
