Hi,

I recently started to use Toolset Blocks.. I like it but have a question!

I do not like to have to scroll up and down every time to find a block if I have multiple block libraries installed. Is there a way to create a custom category and put my common used blocks in that custom category? I would think this would be a common need when using the editor?

Thanks
mel

Hello. Thank you for contacting the Toolset support.

Unfortunately no, there is no such feature available. However I tried to search the plugin for that but I could not able to locate such plugin that should help you to order or categorize the blocks as per your custom requirement. You should try to search for such plugin if you able to find any.

Hi,
Thank you for the feedback. No plugins to do this grrrr. I found a few sites that use php to create a custom category, but I am not a programmer,

It looks fairly easy, but dont know where to put the code. Any help would be useful. I imagine ur user who use ur blocks could find this useful also.

Actually, the reference link you shared is part of the plugin development and here is the full article;

Unfortunately - this is related to WordPress core, I suggest you check with WordPress pro developer that should help you as the blocks and block categories added via plugin.
