Hello. Thank you for contacting the Toolset support.

Well - as I understand you want to link the button block with CRED delete post link? If this is correct - then you can add the button block and take its rendered HTML abd adjust the delete post link.

Please check the following related ticket:

Thanks, that snippet is not working anymore and don't know why... it just stopped working and once I re insert it, it becomes corrupt/unusable and the system try to fix it, rewriting it.

isn't there any other way to craft a delete post link for use in a button?

Can you please share problem URL on what page/post you want to add the button with the cred delete post link?

You can setup normal button as per your requirement and share and I will try to help you to connect the delete post link to it.

*** Please make a FULL BACKUP of your database and website.***
I would also eventually need to request temporary access (WP-Admin and FTP) to your site. Preferably to a test site where the problem has been replicated if possible in order to be of better help and check if some configurations might need to be changed.

I have set the next reply to private which means only you and I have access to it.

I was just trying to save some time using the toolset button widget for the formatting options, but I could not use the "cred-delete-post" shortcut in the button link input, the shortcode output is not compatible as a button link.

Thanks.

I used a html block widget to format a div as a box with background color and a fontawesome icon. inserted the [cred-delete-post type="link"] and it was done

<div style="...">
	[cred-delete-post type="link" action="trash" onsuccess="self"]
		<i style="font-style: normal;font-family: FontAwesome;color:#FFF" class="fa-solid fa-trash"></i>
	[/cred-delete-post]
</div>
