I am trying to:

Set
.border-primary {
border-color: #DF0029;
}

in Toolset Starter Magazine theme.

Whatever I try, be it through Customizer > Custom CSS, or through Layouts CSS and JS, it simply remains blue as it was by default. If I use Customizer, preview displays the new colour, but saving this and reloading page in a normal view, simply returns the old blue colour.

The test site does the same, see here: hidden link

Hello borisS-2,

Thank you for contacting Toolset Support.

I will be happy to help you with your issue.

Can you try overriding using a parent element in front with the following CSS

body .border-primary{
  border-color: #DF0029;
}

Please let me know if this works.

Kind regards
