how to auto select a checkbox by default

This is the technical support forum for Toolset - a suite of plugins for developing WordPress sites without writing PHP.

Everyone can read this forum, but only Toolset clients can post in it. Toolset support works 6 days per week, 19 hours per day.

I've created a user edit form that has 1 checkbox field. I want it to be auto selected when the form is loaded. I don't see the option to do that.

I added the shortcode parameter value="1".
