Hi there,

I have a Custom Post Type called ‘Company’. In this CPT, I have a lot of single post (post title = company name).

Here my request:

I need to add a custom field on the user’s profile which allows me to select a post from a Custom Post Type. It has to be a selectbox if possible (more easy to use for my client). A selectbox with an autocompletion is a +.

For your information, my client has Toolset Types 1.6.3 (free version). I am not allowed to update the plugin.

Is it possible ?

Thanks you a lot

Hi Jerome,

Thank you for getting in touch with us.

You can follow this doc to use Selectbox and checkbox field in Cred Post form:
https://toolset.com/documentation/user-guides/using-custom-fields/
https://toolset.com/documentation/user-guides/styling-cred-forms/

- More custom coding can make it happen as a workaround, but this is something you will need to get done through a developer. We have some recommended list of service providers here if you would like to take a look: https://toolset.com/consultant/

- I recommend updating the Plugin, as several major fixes have been provided with the latest version 2.2.8 (still free)

Thank you

Hi Noman,

Sorry but it was not enought userfriendly for me. I used ACF Pro which offers this possibility without coding.
