Hi Matthew,

Thank you for getting in touch.

When you are creating your sitekey at the link below, you will select "This is a development site"
https://toolset.com/account/sites/

Once you've done this you will need to enter your development site URL as hidden link Currently using Localhost in the URL won't work and an internal ticket has been created for this.

When you're ready to publish the site you can go back to your site key and hit the chainlink button and enter your production site URL and click Publish.

This will now allow the site key to start working for you Production site without having to generate a new site key.

Thanks
Shane

Hello Shane,
Great information--just what I needed. I deleted the original localhost key from my account here at toolset. Now how do I reset my dev site with the new key, I am not seeing an option to deregister, re-register? Apologies in advance for being obtuse.
Matt

Hi Matthew,

You should be able to de-register your plugins by going to Plugins -> Add New and clicking on the commercial Tab.

From there scroll to the Toolset section and you should see "Unregister Toolset from this site" just click this link and it should de-register the plugin. See Screenshot.

Please let me know if this helps.
Thanks,
Shane

I can't get 127.0.0.1 to resolve with the dev key because my dev box is set up to use hidden link...

localhost worked previously, when is a fix expected?

Do I lose my data?

Hi Matthew,

You won't lose any data as the plugins can function normally without being registered.

The registration is just so that you can update the plugins through the installer.

Currently checking on the escalated thread, i'm not seeing any ETA for this at the moment.

Thanks,
Shane

Hi Matthew,

This issue should now be resolved.

You should be able to register sites with the localhost url.

Thanks,
Shane
