Hi,
I need to order my results in a view using 2 different custom fields, anyway in the secondary ordering field I can only choose date, title, ID, author etc.
My first custom field is called "hierachy" and it's a numeric one, the second field is "last-name" and it's alphabetical. I need to use them to order only the post type "doctors", not other post types.

How can I do this?

Thanks,
Nicola

Hi Nicola,

Thank you for contacting our support forum.

Unfortunately it is not possible to sort by 2 custom fields at the same time, however a feature request for this has already been logged so we can expect this in a future update if approved.

Thanks,
Shane

Thank you Shane,
can you tell me when this function will be available? In the meantime is there a way to obtain the same result?

Thanks,
Nicola

Hi Nicola,

I cannot say when this functionality will be available and you could be able to achieve the same results using some custom filters however users on the frontend won't be able to control the sorting .

Thanks,
Shane
