[Resolved] How can I duplicate a post type ?

This support ticket is created 5 years, 8 months ago. There's a good chance that you are reading advice that it now obsolete.

This is the technical support forum for Toolset - a suite of plugins for developing WordPress sites without writing PHP.

Everyone can read this forum, but only Toolset clients can post in it. Toolset support works 6 days per week, 19 hours per day.

Hi, if you hover over the post type name, you can click "Duplicate" to duplicate it. If that's not working for you, I'll be glad to take a closer look.

Okay you want to duplicate posts, not post types. There's nothing built-in to Toolset that will duplicate a post for you. This feature doesn't exist in WordPress for native Posts or Pages either. You might be able to find a 3rd-party plugin to help you duplicate posts, something like this one: https://wordpress.org/plugins/duplicate-post/

I don't know the limitations of this plugin, it was just an example I found with a quick search. You should do your own research and find the one that works best for your site.
