How can I ad the Format option?

1. Ad Single field
2. Field Type Custome field
3. Post Source Current post
4. Custome field Groups "xxxxx"
5. Field Settings -Output mode -As described in the following format
here is the problem format option is missing for me.
How can you activate it?

Hi Reto,

Thank you for getting in touch.

These options are only available when you add your custom field to the view.

Are you not seeing this option when you are adding your custom field ?

As demonstrated in the tutorial it should be on the right hand side in the block tab.

What kind of custom field are you trying to add?

I am in the view and I have ade a custum select field.

But Format option is missing.

Hi Reto,

The issue here seems to be your field type.

Only Date fields, Number fields and Address fields have the Format option.

So if your field is not one of these then you won't see it appearing here.

Hopefully this clarifies the issue for you.
